TIMON RAMACHER
Welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am, a third-year New Design and Attitudes student at St. Joost School of Art & Design.

In my practice, I combine graphic design with experimental material research, exploring the boundaries of form and function.
My work blends digital and physical media, where concept and aesthetics come together.

PROJECT: INTERSECTION
My research focuses on brutalism as a visual language and source of inspiration. I'm drawn to its raw aesthetics, geometric structures, and exposed constructions for their honesty and strength.

I began by photographing brutalist buildings in my surroundings. By closely observing their forms, rhythm, and use of materials, I developed new ideas for my own practice. The use of grids, geometric repetition, and structural patterns particularly inspired my final work: a spatial object based on origami, in which brutalist principles are translated into a light and foldable form.
